£10K Target Achieved

We are delighted that by June 2010, FoCT had achieved its 2010 target of raising £10,000 and are therefore able to build two shower and toilet blocks in two adjacent schools for disabled and deaf children. We hope to start building by the end of the year.

This was achieved by some tremendous fundraising efforts.

An incredible man ran an amazing time at the New York Marathon in November 2009, raising almost £3000.

FoCT raised the astonishing amount, over £8.5K at our fabulous 'Swing into Summer' evening at 100 Club, where Swing Band, Any Swing Goes were joined by many special guest vocalists.

Fundraisers have also had cake sales, car boot sales, charity parking at the Wimbledon Tennis Tournament, a 'Silly Sock Day' at school.

Thank you so much to everyone who made such an effort over the past 12 months!! Every penny really does make a difference

And now onto the next target.....for the rest of 2010 and 2011 we would like to raise £40,000 to build two desperately needed dormitories for disabled children.
